Only the manpower can't help the economy , and freedom of speech & expression is as much important as economical growth.
Backing up Google by Microsoft is a new wave of change and showed up positive spirit in the hard times of Internet.
Only one is gaining out of this is Two Local China Companies Baidu (Search Engine) and Alibaba (Online Portal and Biz solutions).
But the cost of freedom is much higher than some financial benefits.
